The Super Eagles have arrived in the Federal Capital Territory following their second-place finish at the just concluded African Cup of Nations final in Cotê D’Ivoire.
The team landed at 12:30am led by the Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, the NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau.
A video of their return was shared on the Super Eagles X account on Tuesday morning.
It was captioned, “Thank you Nigerians…we are back home…thank you for the love🙏🏾🇳🇬⚽️”
Nigeria finished in second place at the tournament, losing 2-1 to the hosts in Sunday’s final.
Nigeria won five games, drew one, and lost the only one on Sunday.
