Renowned Nigerian gospel singer, Adeyinka Alaseyori, recently took to Instagram to express her distress over the disturbing attacks she has been enduring, particularly on her social media platforms.
In a heartfelt and emotionally charged post, Alaseyori revealed the extent of the malicious messages she has been receiving, highlighting the sinister nature of the threats aimed at both her and her family.
Alaseyori, whose rise in the gospel music industry has been both rapid and remarkable, did not mince words as she confronted the “evil-minded” individuals who, according to her, are wishing her dead.
The singer spoke candidly about the barrage of “satanic” messages she has received, making it clear that despite the malevolent intentions directed at her, she remains resolute in her faith in God to shield her from these attacks.
“I should be afraid of people,” she stated. “But I know I will not die before my time. I see how people come into my DM to drop satanic messages for me and my family, but I have sent them back to God, and they will all be destroyed. I see comments and I laugh. I see curses and I smile. I saw people wishing a lot of things and I wished them back. Whoever thinks of death towards me shall die mysteriously.”
In her post, Alaseyori also made a fervent appeal to her fans and followers, asking for their prayers during this challenging time.
She believes that there are malevolent forces at work, trying to silence her voice and bring her down by any means necessary.
Although she refrained from naming specific individuals, the singer hinted at knowing those behind the attacks and emphasized the seriousness of their actions.
“Dear fans, please keep praying for me and my family,” she pleaded. “Everywhere you are or whatever you are doing, never stop praying for me. I have been feeling this way for months, but I can’t keep quiet about it anymore. I want you all to be aware and keep me in your prayers.”
Alaseyori’s heartfelt plea sheds light on what she perceives as a spiritual battle against forces determined to derail her success.
She spoke about the envy and bitterness that some people harbour towards her rise, pointing out the unfairness of being targeted simply because of her achievements.
“This life is just filled with demonic people who are constantly bitter that you are rising,” she lamented. “Everybody works hard, and nobody knows the amount of work we all do. But why would anybody come and try to force me down because you are pained that I am rising?”
As a prominent figure in the gospel music scene, Alaseyori has faced criticism from certain quarters within the community, with some questioning the rapid nature of her success.
There have been whispers and suspicions about whether her meteoric ascent is entirely natural, a sentiment she addressed in her post.
In response to her public call for prayer, Alaseyori received an outpouring of support from her fans and fellow believers, many of whom took to social media to offer words of encouragement and assurance of their prayers.
The singer, known for her powerful worship songs like ‘Oniduro Mi’, has struck a chord with many listeners, solidifying her place in the gospel music industry.
Before concluding her message, Alaseyori also urged her followers to pray for themselves, acknowledging the spiritual battles that everyone faces daily.
“I also want you to pray for yourselves too,” she encouraged, reminding them of the ever-present challenges in life.
Despite the challenges she has encountered, Adeyinka Alaseyori remains steadfast in her faith and committed to her calling, determined to overcome the obstacles in her path with the help of her supporters and the grace of God.
