The General Overseer of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, has urged Christian to shun unscriptural things that may mar their relationship with God, noting that the unrighteous cannot inherit God’s kingdom, warning, time is now very short.
Muoka made this known in his weekly sermon, while preaching at the Sunday Service at the church’s headquarters in Ijesha, Lagos, with the theme, ‘Total Transformation Of Life’, charging Christians to desist from fornication, adultery, idolatry, lesbianism and all forms of unrighteousness, adding that those who indulge in these vices are seeking the wrath of God.
He said It is better for Christians to enter heaven with one eye than to have the complete body and miss heaven, while making it clear that unrighteousness and materialism have no place in God’s kingdom, adding that without holiness and righteousness no man can see God.
“The unrighteous cannot inherit God’s kingdom, so, be warned because the time is now very short. It is better for you to enter heaven with one eye than to have the complete body and miss heaven. The conclusion of the matter is that if you are not born again, embrace Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and as you do this, the old man will be destroyed and you will have a new nature to please God in all that you do.”
While calling on Christians to lead a righteous lifestyle both in public and in the private, Muoka noted that by so doing, they will glorify God, the total transformation, according to him, is the work of Jesus Christ and not by any other means.
The cleric observed that there is nothing like half-transformation, saying, for it is either you are born again or not, just as he emphasized on the benefits of true transformation.
The minister of God affirmed that Christians are the light of the world and are expected to model their lives after Christ, arguing that, “If you have not experienced a change of heart, then you need to be born again, get transformed and live your life according to the plan and purpose of God. When you love somebody, you cannot hate the person, have the spirit of God, maintain purity of heart as you hunger and thirst for righteousness; or only the righteous shall see God,” he said.
