Four persons have suffered severe injuries following an accident involving a Lexus car along Liasu road in the Idimu area of Lagos State.
According to reports, the vehicle was speeding when it lost control, veering off the road and colliding with a shop situated across from a Catholic church in the vicinity.
The impact of the crash not only damaged the shop but also affected a neighboring building, causing harm to some residents who were still asleep at the time.
Eyewitnesses recounted that the occupants of the vehicle suffered varying degrees of injuries as a result of the collision.
Prompt assistance arrived as the injured individuals were swiftly transported to the hospital, where they are presently undergoing treatment for their injuries.
Despite the driver managing to escape unscathed from the accident, residents acted swiftly, apprehending him as he attempted to flee the scene.
