The traditional rite of Aseyin designate, Iseyin in Oke Ogun geo-political zone, Oyo State, Prince Sefiu Olawale Oyebola, has been scheduled to commence on Monday ahead of coronation.
This was made known in a statement signed by Mogaji Lawal Fatail Oladimeji on behalf of Akando Royal, noting that the Aseyin – Designate will arrive in Iseyin on Monday, 25th September, 2023.
Prince Oyebola is expected to go into seclusion on his arrival in line with the customs pertaining to the enthronement of a king.
The statement read, “The Aseyin Designate will tour round the major communities: Ekunle, Isalu, Oremoje, Koso, Ladogan, Oke Esa and host of others including historical places before he will make himself available for the coronation rites in the evening of the same Monday.”
It was gathered that the monarch should sit briefly at Technical College, Iseyin, between 4 pm and 5:30 pm the same day.
The statement, thereby, prayed for the successful arrival and coronation of Aseyin Designate, stating that he shall live longer with sound health so that Iseyin can be further taken to enviable heights in terms of growth and development.
