The Nigeria Football Federation has announced the vacancy for the position of Head Coach for the Super Sand Eagles of Nigeria.
In a statement released on its official website, titled ‘Vacancy For The Position of Head Coach Super Sand Eagles of Nigeria’, the NFF media team declared the position open and called for applications from qualified candidates.
“Are you resolute, passionate, and experienced Sand Football Coach ready to take on the challenge of leading the Super Sand Eagles of Nigeria? The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is pleased to announce openings for the position of Head Coach for the Super Sand Eagles of Nigeria.”
The statement outlined the requirements for applying as the coach of the Super Sand Eagles:
“The Candidate must have taken part in at least ONE (1) Beach Soccer Refresher Course organized by the NFF.”
“The Candidate must be conversant with, and abreast of, ever-changing rules of the game of beach soccer.”
“The Candidate must have been involved in beach soccer activities in the past three to four years.”
“Playing experience nationally and internationally will be an added advantage.”
“Possession of at least CAF C License will also be an added advantage.”
The deadline for submitting applications is Midnight, Friday, 12 July 2024.
The former head coach, Jose Peseiro, officially vacated the position at the end of the previous month. While there were speculations about ongoing negotiations with Peseiro, the latest decision from the NFF indicates otherwise.
Interested coaches, both expatriates and locals, are encouraged to submit their applications to the NFF.
Additionally, the NFF has also declared the position of the U-17 coach vacant. Former Super Eagles defender, Nduka Ugbade, was previously in charge of the team.
