Security agents on Saturday dispersed some group of protesters who converged to block Ore-Benin Expressway.
PunchMetro reported that a protest was staged on Friday at the same spot and it lasted for hours before normalcy was restored.
The protesters staged a protest over
President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), new directive of authenticating only the old 200 naira note as legal tender.
Protesters burnt tyres to stop vehicular movement along the route, while some were seen playing football on the expressway.
Police personnel and Amotekun Corps however layed off protesters and eased the flow of vehicles along the expressway as at the time of filing this report.
