The Odo Iya-Alaro Bridge inwards Ojota, Lagos, has had rain floods dislodged and deposited into open drains by the agents of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority.
According to The PUNCH, this was disclosed by the Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department, LASTMA, Mr Taofiq Adebayo, through a press statement on Monday.
He stated that the move was part of efforts to ease traffic on the road.
Adebayo stated that one of the LASTMA employees, Mr Lateef Kabir, took the initiative after observing major jam on top of the Odo Iya-Alaro Bridge inward Ojota.
Also, the general manager of LASTMA, Mr. Bolaji Oreagba, urged everyone, especially those who drive, to always abide by traffic officer instructions and the 2018 Lagos State Transport Sector Reform Law.
