A renowned gospel minister, Victoria Orenze, has been officially ordained as an apostle by two prominent Christian leaders; the founder and president of Sword of the Spirit Ministries International, headquartered in Ibadan, Oyo State, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, and presiding pastor of The King of All Kings Church of the Capstone, formerly known as New Life Pastoral Centre and New Life Assembly, based in Kaduna, Pastor Chris Delvan.
The ordination, captured in a video shared by @therealchurchgist1 on social media, was a solemn and powerful moment, marked by deep spiritual declarations and a commissioning into a higher calling.
During the ceremony, Pastor Delvan emphasized the gravity of the assignment bestowed upon Orenze, stating, “From today, we call you an apostle. He didn’t raise me to build a church of 30,000. He didn’t raise me to reach 100,000 people and stop there. He raised me to keep working until the fire in His eyes goes out, until He says it is enough. That’s the commission.”
He continued by highlighting the essence of apostolic ministry, emphasizing that it is not a title but a divine mandate, noting, “Your apostolic commission today is not a title; it is a specific assignment. I’m not afraid to lay hands on you. I’m not afraid to give you the right hand and the right leg of fellowship. I’m not even careful because I know you’re more than competent. Your competence is not your ability, but your willingness, your hunger.”
In a powerful affirmation of her readiness, Pastor Delvan declared, “You resemble Him. Your eyes are flames of fire. You are passionate about what is before you, and you will come back with victories. Everything you went out with will be accounted for.”
Encouraging Orenze to embrace her calling with humility and focus, the cleric stressed, “Today is about apostolic assignment—that is, committing to faithful men what has been given to you. I don’t mean perfect men, just willing men. Your eyes will see the willing, and you will equip them for the task ahead.
“Don’t worry about where you’re coming from. He didn’t choose the nobles, the strong, or the intelligent. He chose you because of your heart.”
This ordination marks a significant milestone in Victoria Orenze’s ministry as she embarks on her new apostolic journey to the nations.
