Some veterans Yoruba Nollywood actors have givstated en their reasons for declaring support for the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Premium Politics reported on Tuesday shared that some Yoruba actors Including Taiwo Hassan aka Ogogo, Jide Kosoko, Yinka Quadri, Adebayo Salami, Faithia Williams, Eniola Ajao, Foluke Daramola, Femi Adebayo and Madam Saje endorsed Tinubu.
The video got mixed reactions from Nigerians on social media, forcing a response from some of them.
Defending his support for Tinubu, Ogogo said that everyone has a choice to make and he has made his.
Sharing the campaign video on his Instagram page, he wrote: “Allah the highest has bestowed the power of choice to everyone. I wholly support Bola Tinubu on his mandate, please choose freely as it’s your right. I have chosen mine.”
Also, Jide Kosoko disclosed that he had witnessed Tinubu as a genuine leader
His post on Instagram read: “I stand with Tinubu. I have witnessed his achievement as a genuine leader over the years, his support for humanity and the creative industry in particular.”
