Allegations of alleged bullying have been levelled against Taiwo Cole, the ‘husband’ to Nigerian Nollywood actress, comedene and OAP, Wofai Ewa, better known as Wofai Fada.
The couple have been in the middle of controversy moments after announcing their engagement which took place in Ugep, Cross River State over the weekend after Cole’s family disclaimed the ceremony.
Kunle Cole, the family patriarch, strongly denied any knowledge or approval of the union, stating, “This serves to notify all acquaintances, family, and friends that the Cole family of Victoria Island, Lagos, are not aware of any marriage ceremony involving our son, Taiwo Olakitan Cole; neither did we grant permission nor support in this regard.”
The rollercoaster start to Wofai and Cole’s ‘happily ever after’ has sailed from the big news, congratulations from some family and friends and social media in-laws, to the controversial disclaimer, backlashes, parental consent debate, and now allegations of bullying from old wounds that have yet to heal.
While Punch Metro can’t immediately verify if the alleged victims were actual schoolmates of Cole or that he bullied his ex-piers as alleged, below are some discussions that popped up in the process.
One user @abubakralsadig, said, “Lmao I still remember in Jss1 TAIWO Cole came into our class before lunch break to ask a junior for something. It was Mrs Adio’s computer class. Nigga barged in like a teacher wasn’t there and she walked him out of her class. My best friend Uwais giggled while she insulted him maybe StanLee?”
@TheC… wrote, “How’re you remenmbering something that happened years ago in details Ino fit even remember some kind things wey sup yesterday sef.”
Noting Taiwo Cole is on hot seat@lincardinal, said, “Today na today, it’s hot for Wofai and Taiwo Cole. Some people go marry na celebration everywhere Some people go marry na wahala everywhere….Dear God, na celebration everywhere I want for my own.The actress announced the wedding on her Instagram page.”
Explaining that such memories were not easily forgotten, @Bigmellbiz, said “Omor if you were a bully in boarding school, your juniors will never forget your episodes they will use it to judge you in the future.”
Also @ikuokuoma_jay, wrote,”When you bring your affairs to the public on social media, you are inviting the public to make it their own affair. All these drama could have been avoided if they had their wedding in peace and went home in peace without broadcasting it everywhere on social media.”
