New crowned world cup winner, Lionel Messi has continued to express his excitement at winning the 2022 FIFA World Cup hosted in Qatar.
The Argentine led his country to win its third world cup trophy and its first in 35 years.
In a thrilling 120-minute game that ended in a 3-3 draw, the two teams battled it out until the very last second. France forward and star player Kylian Mbappe scored a hat-trick to tie the score in extra time and send the game to penalties, where Argentina defeated France 4-2.
The seven-time winner of the Ballon d’Or, wrote, “CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD!!!!!! So many times I dreamed it, so much I wanted it that I still don’t fall. I can’t believe it.”
