Norway continued their strong start to the 2026 World Cup qualifiers with an emphatic 4-2 victory over Israel on Tuesday night.
Erling Haaland found the net once again, reaching a milestone of 40 international goals in just 41 appearances. His goal, Norway’s fourth of the night, came in the 83rd minute.
David Møller Wolfe opened the scoring in the 39th minute, followed by Alexander Sørloth in the 59th and Kristoffer Ajer in the 65th, giving Norway a commanding lead.
Israel managed to respond with goals from Mohammad Abu Fani in the 55th minute and Dor Turgeman deep into stoppage time in the 93rd minute, but it wasn’t enough to trouble the dominant Norwegians.
With two wins from two matches, Norway leads Group I with six points, while Israel sits in third place with three points, level with Estonia.
