Wayne Rooney sacked as Birmingham manager

Birmingham City has parted ways with Wayne Rooney after a dismal run of 15 matches at St Andrew’s.

This loss, the ninth within 15 games under Rooney’s management, resulted in Birmingham’s retention of the 20th spot in the Championship, further extending the coach’s disappointing run.
