Ghanaian official Adaari Abdul Latif has been selected as the referee for Thursday’s WAFU B U17 Championship group B opener between five-time world champions Nigeria and the Burkina Faso U17 team at the Accra University Stadium.
Latif will be joined by compatriot Emmanuel Dolagbanu as assistant referee 1, while Nigeriens Sakina Hamidou and Brahamou Sadou Ali will serve as assistant referee 2 and fourth official, respectively.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 3pm Ghana time, 4pm Nigeria time.
Latre-Kayi Edzona Lawson-Hogban from Togo will act as the commissioner, and Ivorian Songuifolo Yeo will serve as the referee assessor.
This championship is a qualifying competition for 2025 Africa U17 Cup of Nations.
