Super Falcon’s forward, Asisat Oshoala, is expected to be fit for his team’s upcoming match against Botswana at the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations in Morocco, according to to head coach Randy Waldrum.
Oshoala picked up an injury in Nigeria’s 2-1 defeat to the Banyana Banyana of South Africa on Monday night.
The Barcelona Femeni striker was replaced by Francisca Ordega eight minutes from time.
Waldrum expressed confidence that the talismanic star won’t spend time on the sidelines
“I think she will be fine, the doctors will check her and I am hopeful for a positive update,” the American said.
The Super Falcons will take on Botswana on Thursday.
