A video of a muslim man praying in the aisle of an airplane has continued to generate various reactions on social media.
The clip obtained by PUNCH METRO, saw the man who was observing his prayers saw the man praying on the mat, while obstructing the movement of others passengers.
The video was widely shared on the internet with more social media users weighing on the story.
A tweep identified as @Nimbe while reacting stated, “Total rubbish. The prophet never suggested/recommended we use our religion to inconvenient others.
“These kinds of behaviors paint islam in a bad light.”
Another tweep identified as @Mohammad NDA, tweeted, “Inconsiderate and unacceptable, even from an Islamic point of view. Inconveniencing others.”
While @Olayinka tweeted that, “Some Muslims act like we don’t see other Muslims with decent character.
“How can you obstruct the passage of a plane all in the name of prayer.God help us.”
While sharing a different opinion, a tweep identified @Chief Commander, tweeted, “I’m not a Muslim but shame on these humans
we’ve become so intolerant & discriminatory, its appalling.
“How is what he is doing remotely inconveniencing anyone?is he yelling?He’s gonna be done in a few mins. If every1 just quietly let him be,there wont be a single fuss abi out it”.
