Ahead of the Governorship election on Saturday, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has donated N100 million to traders who suffered losses at the burnt Akere Spare Parts Market, Ajegunle in the Apapa area of the state.
Recall that, PUNCH Metro had reported on Wednesday last week how goods worth millions of naira were destroyed in a fire incident that occurred at the market.
The PUNCH reported that alongside the donation, Sanwo-Olu also kicked off the foundation for the renovation of the market.
