A resident of Dolphin Estate, Lagos State, has narrated how a phyton was killed in the estate.
The incident, shared by a resident with the username #Realolaudah on X, has sparked a wave of curiosity among dwellers of the.
While he also shared a video of the python, he explained that the sheer size of the snake left many baffled, giving rise to numerous unanswered questions.
“It was a night to remember in Dolphin Estate since last night when a python was killed. So many questions are begging for answers, anxieties, uneasiness, and fear amongst some residents. A snake this big!” the post read.
Explaining what transpired, #Realolaudah said the property in question belonged to a young man, who, at the time, was not present.

He also revealed that the owner of the neighboring property breeds dogs.
According to him, over time, the dog owners observed an inexplicable pattern: whenever the dogs gave birth, some of the puppies mysteriously disappeared, leaving no traces. Out of 8 puppies, only 4 remained.
He also stated that behind these houses lies the SSS Quarters with vast grounds, overgrown bushes, and a canal.
It was within the driver’s BQ with a compromised ceiling that the snake made its sudden appearance, falling from above. Subsequently, the python coiled up, raising its head menacingly, seemingly ready to strike.
The news of the snake quickly reached the property owner, who was informed of the snake’s presence.
He added that in a swift response, the owner reached out to a friend in Parkview Estate, who possessed a licensed shotgun. This friend promptly arrived from Parkview, took aim, and killed the snake.
He also added that there were reports of several missing cats that used to roam in the ceilings of the vicinity.
