International Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, on Sunday sent his condolences to fellow artist, Ayodeji Balogun also known as Wizkid, over his mum’s demise.
PUNCH METRO reported Wizkid lost his mother in the early hours of Saturday in London.
In a video obtained by PUNCH METRO, Davido during his performance at the Afronation Fest in Detroit, United States, Davido said, “I wanna say a big condolences to my brother Ayo Balogun, Wizkid, to his mother. May her soul rest in peace”
Recall that Davido had once described Wizkid’s mum as an amazing woman after the duo met at the airport.
“Such an amazing Woman … God bless you ma …. D way I was carrying mommy’s bags today at the airport .. dem know say nah First class citizen,” Davido tweeted while responding to a tweet about the development.
