The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), arrived London, United Kingdom for his routine medical checkup on Tuesday.
This was revealed by the Special Assistant to the President on Digital Communications, Bashir Ahmad on Tuesday.
The presidential aide shared a video of the presidential plane arriving at the London Airport early Tuesday morning.
“President Muhammadu Buhari arrives London, United Kingdom, for routine medical check-up. The President to return to the country in the second week of November, 2022.”
Prior to the trip, Buhari on Monday met with service chiefs in Abuja to discuss the nation’s security in the wake of the recent security alert issued by the United Kingdom.
