In preparation for the 2023/34 season, Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, has joined his teammates in Dimaro, northern Italy, for their pre-season training.
Napoli’s official Twitter account announced Victor Osimhen’s return on Tuesday, following confirmation by the new manager, Rudi Garcia. The club shared a photo of Osimhen wearing their new training kit, accompanied by the caption ‘Osi’.
Napoli began their pre-season training on July 10, but Osimhen was granted an extended holiday by the club due to his national team commitments with Nigeria. He played a crucial role in Nigeria’s victory over Sierra Leone, scoring twice in the AFCON 2023 qualifier, securing their qualification for the tournament in Cameroon next year.
During his holiday in Nigeria, Osimhen also took the opportunity to visit his neighborhood in Olusosun, Lagos, and engaged in various community projects as a way of giving back.
