Veteran Nollywood actor Dayo Adewunmi, popularly known as Baba Sule Suebebe, has passed away.
According to reports, he died early Wednesday morning at a hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State, after a long illness.
An Ibadan cleric, Pastor Ademola Amusan, also known as Agbala Gabriel, announced his death on Facebook, saying “It’s a pity, Baba Suebebe died in the hospital this morning. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”
Baba Sule Suebebe was a prominent figure in the Yoruba-speaking sector of the movie industry, appearing in over 100 films, including Suku Suku Bam Bam, Suku Suku Bam Bam 2, and Ago Kan Oru.
He had also spoken publicly about his past struggles and apologized for any harm he may have caused.
As if the time of filing this report, there’s no official report of his death.
