A former Chief Press Secretary to ex-Military President, Ibrahim Babangida, has passed away at the age of 83.
According to PUNCH, the veteran journalist died on Tuesday.
The journalist was born on September 27, 1939, in Ijebu-Ode, which is in the state of Ogun. He went to the CMS Grammar School and the London School of Journalism.
He worked as a reporter for the Daily Express in 1961 before he joined the Daily Sketch and returned to Daily Express.
In 1969, he served as the London correspondent of the Express. In the mid-1970s, he worked for the Daily Times, rising to become a deputy editor.
