Following the termination of oil subsidies by the Federal Government, the University of Jos has set up free shuttle buses to facilitate the movement of the institution’s students and personnel.
In a circular signed by the university’s senior deputy registrar, Abdullahi Abdullahi, Vice Chancellor Professor Ishaya Tanko revealed the development.
The circular, dated June 8, 2023, stated that in order to lessen people’s suffering, free shuttle buses will be deployed to specific routes within Jos, the state capital, every day save on Sundays.
