A Russian warship, the Novocherkassk, has been damaged in the Black Sea during an attack in the port of Feodosiya in Russian-controlled Crimea.
According to The BBC, the strike, reportedly carried out by Ukrainian aircraft with guided missiles, resulted in the ship’s damage and the unfortunate loss of one life.
Crimea’s Russian-appointed leader, Sergei Aksyonov, stated that six buildings were damaged, prompting some individuals to seek temporary housing.
Despite the incident, the port’s transportation operations are reportedly functioning normally.
According to reports, this attack occurred in an area internationally recognized as part of Ukraine but has been under Russian control since its annexation in 2014.
