Two teenage boys have been charged with murder in connection to the fatal stabbing of 13-year-old Jahziah Coke at his home in the United Kingdom.
According to BBC, the attack occurred on Lovett Avenue in Oldbury, West Midlands, around 16:00 BST on Thursday.
Additionally, a man in his 40s, who was arrested on Monday, faces charges of assisting an offender, according to West Midlands Police.
All three individuals are currently in police custody and are scheduled to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court.
Jahziah’s mother paid tribute to her son, describing him as a “polite, kind and family-orientated young man.” She added, “He was very loving and always smiling. His smile would light up the room.”
The two teenage suspects, whose identities and ages are being withheld for legal reasons, were apprehended on Sunday.
Despite receiving treatment from paramedics, Jahziah was pronounced dead at the scene, as confirmed by West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Floral tributes have been placed outside the family home. Police are continuing their investigation and are appealing for anyone with relevant information or footage—such as dashcam, doorbell, CCTV, or phone recordings—to come forward.
