Gabriel Martnelli will miss the second leg of Arsenal’s Champions League last-16 clash with FC Porto on Tuesday night.
Martinelli was absent from training at the Sobha Realty Training Centre after suffering a foot injury last Monday during their 6-0 win over Sheffield United in the Premier League.
Mikel Arteta will have to cope without one of his key attackers as Arsenal is set for a must-win game against FC Porto.
The Brazilian’s injury saw him miss Saturday’s 2-1 win over Brentford.
He was seen on with a protective boot and walking on crutches after the game as he headed through the mixed zone.
Martinelli is expected to sit out the game against Porto on Tuesday night.
“Percentage you want [of him to play]? There are options. Sorry to disappoint you,” Arteta told reporters.
The Gunners are aiming to overturn a one-goal deficit having lost the away clash two weeks ago.
