German giants Bayern Munich, were on Tuesday night stunned by Premier League side, Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
The Tuchel led side were sent packing back to Germany after the English side had pummeled them by three goals to nil on English soil.
The much contested game was thrown after Manchester City scored their second goal of the game through Bernardo Silva in the 70th minute.
Prior to this the Pep Guardiola side took the lead in the 27th minute through Rodri following an assist from Bernardo Silva.
Manchester City third goal of the game came through Bernardo who lashed on to an assist from Erling Haaland to give the English side a comfortable lead.
Manchester City will be going to German next week for the second leg of the Champion’s league encounter where they hope they will preserve their lead in hope of a semi final ticket.
