Two police officers have been reported killed following an attack by suspected gunmen in Enugu State.
According to Daily Post, the officer were killed at a check point around the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus on Sunday.
It was gathered that the officers were caught unaware while conducting a stop and search operation at the checkpoint
Video clips from the scene of the incident showed the two officers lying in a pool of their blood.
The Enugu State Police Command is yet to react to the incident.
