Renowned American actress, Jada Pinkett Smith, has openly declared that the late rapper, Tupac Shakur, was her soulmate.
She made this statement despite her 19-year marriage to actor Will Smith.
Jada, who is 52-years-old, revealed this during an interview with Rolling Out while promoting her upcoming memoir, according to a report by Daily Mail on Friday.
She said she considered Tupac her soulmate, a profound connection that transcended their friendship.
She lamented that despite their close relationship, they never engaged in a romantic relationship due to a perceived lack of chemistry.
According to her, she and Will Smith, her husband of 19 years, have been secretly separated for seven years.
“If there is such a thing as past lives, I definitely think Pac and I have traveled a few together, you know, in various forms.”
When asked whether if she regretted not pursuing a romantic relationship with Tupac, she candidly responded, “It just wasn’t possible. There was no chemistry between us.”
The late Shakur, an iconic figure in hip-hop, tragically lost his life in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas in 1996 at the age of 25. His untimely death remains a significant moment in the history of music and pop culture.
Jada’s upcoming memoir is expected to provide further details and perspectives on her journey, offering fans and readers a deeper understanding of the actress and her experiences.
