Emmy Award-winning comedian, Trevor Noah, is set to host the esteemed Grammy Awards for the fourth consecutive year.
The announcement came from Noah himself during a recent episode of his Spotify podcast, “What Now? With Trevor Noah,” broadcasted on Thursday.
“I’m hosting the Grammys. I’m excited about that, yeah,” he said. “It’s a lot of fun. I enjoy the Grammys because I get to watch the show in person and then experience and comment on it in person while it’s happening.”
In another post shared via his Instagram page, he wrote, “I’m so excited! #GRAMMYs baby!🕺🏾Tune in Sunday, February 4th at 8pm! On @CBSTV! 🔥.”
Trevor Noah made his Grammy stage debut in 2021 and subsequently returned as the host for the 2022 and 2023 editions of the prestigious awards.
The Recording Academy, organizers of the event, praised Noah in an official statement, lauding him for his talent in “creating a seamless and engaging experience” for both live and remote audiences in previous shows.
The statement emphasized his skillful blend of humor and deep appreciation for music, affirming his impact and popularity as the host.
Scheduled for February 4, 2024, the 66th Grammy Awards will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Beyond hosting duties, the South African comedian also clinches a nomination in the Best Comedy Album category for his Netflix project, “I Wish You Would.”
Notably, Noah earned his first Grammy nomination in 2020 for his album, “Son of Patricia,” also nominated in the Best Comedy Album category.
