The Nigeria Police Force Criminal Investigation Department, Alagbon, Ikoyi in Lagos, have arrested some of Tiwa Savage’s domestic staff for allegedly plotting the kidnap of the star artist.
The department’s spokesperson, CSP Oluniyi Ogundeyi, confirmed this to newsmen on Saturday in Lagos.
It could be recalled that the news of the attempted kidnap flooded social media on Friday.
She was reportedly saved by her private security and the Nigeria Police Force.
Vanguard reported that the failed plot was allegedly planned by Tiwa Savage’s new domestic staff, who had been entrusted with vital information about her.
Sources said that the domestic staff had been trailing the singer as she left her home and shared the information with other members of the alleged kidnapping gang.
The police spokesperson confirmed the arrest of the suspects.
”Yes, we have some suspects, they are in our custody. They are about four,” Ogundeyi explained.
