President Bola Tinubu and his aides have returned to Nigeria from Europe on Wednesday, as announced by the Presidency.
The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga welcomed the President back into the country in a post on his X handle.
“Welcome Home Mr President!,” he wrote.
President Tinubu had traveled for a meeting with the Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte, over two weeks ago, followed by a trip to Saudi Arabia to attend a special World Economic Forum.
He left Abuja for The Netherlands on April 22 on an official visit, invited by Prime Minister Rutte. After his engagements in The Netherlands,
Tinubu proceeded to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia for the special WEF meeting held between April 28 and 29.
The President’s delayed return after the forum in Saudi Arabia had led to speculations about his whereabouts, but his return today puts an end to those speculations.
