President Bola Tinubu is currently presiding over the Federal Executive Council meeting, which reconvened today after a six-week hiatus.
According to the Nation, the meeting is being attended by almost all members of the cabinet, except for the vice president and the National Security Adviser.
The last FEC meeting, which was held on May 13 and 14, considered and approved over 20 memoranda, including a new initiative aimed at driving economic growth through investment in housing and infrastructure projects.
The meeting comes amid various socio-economic challenges, including soaring inflation and an unresolved national minimum wage issue.
The FEC meeting is expected to address these pressing matters and find solutions to move the country forward.
