President Bola Tinubu has expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the family of the victims of the road accident that occured in Niger state on Wednesday, November 22, which claimed several lives and left many more with various degrees o injuries.
Tinubu expresses his sadness over the unfortunate incident in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.
Reports revealed that the road accident claimed about twenty-five lives.
It was said that it occurred around Takalafia Village, along the Yawuri Expressway, Magama council area of the state.
Tinubu, while condoling the people and government of Niger State, he directed agencies in charge of emergency response to move in and ensure the injured receive necessary treatment with dispatch.
The statement read, “President Bola Tinubu commiserates with the people and government of Niger State over a ghastly auto-crash, which led to the loss of many lives in Magama Local Government Area of the State.
“President Tinubu condoles with the families of those who lost their lives in the accident and prays for the repose of the souls of the deceased.
“The President describes the incident as a harrowing tragedy and directs the agency responsible for emergency response to immediately move in and ensure that those injured in the tragic accident get the necessary treatment at the highest quality and with alacrity.”
The President, however, urged the citizens to be vigilant and safety conscious as they travel during the festive season, and always.
