A social media influencer Mahek Bukhari and her mum Ansreen, have been jailed for life for the murder of the mum’s young lover.
The duo were reported to have ambushed and rammed of the victim off the road at 100mph when he threatened to expose the three-year affair with a sex tape.
They were found guilty by the jury alongside two of the girl’s friends Raees Jamal and Rekan Karwan.
The jury was told during the trial how Hashim and Saqib, both 21, travelled from Banbury, Oxfordshire, to Leicester to meet Mahek, 23, and Ansreen, 47, and receive £3,000 in cash as payment for Saqib’s threat to post online naked and pornographic images and videos of Ansreen, with whom he had been having a three-year affair.
Mahek and her mother instead devised a plan to ambush them, with Mahek and her co-defendants pursuing the two men up the A46. Defendant Raees Jamal, 22, was driving a Seat Leon when he collided with the men’s Skoda Fabia, propelling them into the median.
The vehicle’split in two’ before exploding into flames, murdering both occupants.
