At least three medical students are reportedly missing after their boat sank in Calabar.
This was confirmed by the control room of the Cross rivers police command.
Inspector David Eleni who spoke with Punch Metro affirmed that there were 18students, but three are still missing while others have been rescued.
In his words” Yes, it’s true I just spoke with the DPO, three of them are still missing.
“The were 18. I don’t know much details”.
The Final year medical students are reportedly missing after their boat sank at the Marina resort, Calabar, Cross River State.
The unfortunate incident happened when the students were on a boat cruise at the resort as part of events slated for the Calabar University Medical Association week.
At least 18 of the students were rescued while three others are still missing.
