The Ondo State Police command has confirmed the killing of a student of the Adekunle Ajain University, Akungba Akoko.
This was disclosed through the official Twitter page of the command on Thursday evening.
The tweet read, “Akungba Division is aware while corpse has been deposited at the morgue.
“The police is working with necessary authorities to ensure peace and normalcy returns to the town. Thanks”.
Report has it that, the student whose identity is unknown was stabbed to death by suspected cultists over argument on N1000.
The incident reportedly happened off campus has created apprehension in the university community.
It was gathered that the house of the suspect who stabbed the student to death, has been reportedly set ablaze by the irate students.
