Nigeria’s Super Eagles are set to know their group stage opponents for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers this Thursday.
The draw for the biennial tournament is scheduled to take place in Johannesburg, South Africa.
As three-time champions, the Super Eagles are anticipated to be among the seeded teams for the draw.
A total of 48 countries will be divided into 12 groups of four, which will determine the qualifiers for next year’s continental event.
The top two teams in each group will secure their spots for Morocco 2025.
Ultimately, 24 nations will compete for the championship title at the tournament.
In the previous edition hosted by Côte d’Ivoire, the Super Eagles finished in second place.
