Super Eagles interim head coach, Finidi George, has vowed to leave no stone unturned to get positive results in their upcoming friendlies against Ghana and Mali in Morocco.
Finidi made this disclosure on Nigeria Football Federation TV.
Nigeria’s side will be looking to build on their positive outing at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The former winger has been charged with the responsibility of leading the team following the exit of erstwhile head coach, Jose Peseiro.
The Super Eagles will face eternal rivals, Ghana on Friday, before taking on Mali next Tuesday.
Both matches will serve as preparation for their next 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic in June.
Finidi maintained that they will fight to get the best result in the two friendly games
“We want to make (Nigerians) them proud.
“AFCON is gone so these are two games that are very crucial for Nigeria, so we will take them seriously and get the best out of these games,” Finidi said.
