SS1 students rape 14-year-old in Ondo

Three secondary school students have been arrested by the police for gang-raping a 14-year-old SSS1 girl in Ondo State.

The suspects, according to Daily Post, have been identified as Idris Matthew,17; Olawale Tobi, 18 and Ajayi Micheal, 17.

The teenagers were reportedly students of Akure High School in the Akure South Local Government Area of the state.

Confirming the incident, the Ondo State Police Command’s spokesperson, Funmilayo Odunlami, said that the suspects “lured a 14 year old student into the bush at the back of the school gate and gang-raped her.”

The three suspects, she said, “are in custody.”
