The Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Enoh, has lauded Tobi Amusan’s remarkable achievement in setting a new African women’s indoor record in the 60-meter hurdles.
Amusan accomplished this feat at the Astana Indoor Meet in Kazakhstan, leaving spectators in awe.
In a statement released by his media aide, Diana-Mary Tiku Nsan, the minister commended Amusan for her exceptional athleticism and unwavering dedication to the sport. Clocking an impressive time of7.77 seconds.
Amusan not only secured victory but also etched her name in history by surpassing the longstanding record of7.82 seconds set by Glory Alozie in1999.
Senator Enoh expressed his admiration for Amusan’s remarkable achievement, stating, “Tobi Amusan has demonstrated the epitome of true athleticism, and we are immensely proud of her.
