Super Eagles winger, Ademola Lookman, found the back of the net as Atalanta triumphed over Torino with a commanding 3-0 victory in their Serie A clash on Sunday.
This performance comes hot on the heels of Lookman’s hat-trick that propelled Atalanta to a Europa League title win against Bayer Leverkusen earlier in the week.
Atalanta head coach, Gian Piero Gasperini, praised Lookman’s standout performance in the Europa League final, describing it as a historic moment that will be remembered for years.
Building on his midweek heroics, Lookman struck again in the 43rd minute, adding to the opening goal by Scamacca in the 26th minute.
This latest goal marks Lookman’s 10th of the season, achieved over 30 appearances.
Pasalic sealed the victory for Atalanta with a goal in the 71st minute, delighting the home fans and ensuring all three points for the team.
