The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will commission the Ikeja Along flyover on Tuesday, 19 December 2023.
This was dis losed Sanwo-Olu’s media aide, Jubril Gawat on his X handle.
“The completion and commissioning of this flyover (including Yaba and Oyingbo) shows that we are getting closer to the completion of the Red Line Rail Project,”.
He added that the Chairman, Nigeria Governors’ Forum also the Governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq will join the Lagos state governor to commission the project.
Meanwhile, Sanwo-Olu in September said the Red Line Rail will be completed before the end of the year 2023.
The Ikeja overpass is a T-Bridge measuring 620 metres.
