The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has appointed Dr. Babatunde Ajayi, as the new General Manager of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency.
The appointment of Ajayi, who is a former Special Assistant to the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, was announced on the agency’s X page on Monday.
“The Lagos state government has appointed a renowned medical practitioner and global health consultant, Dr. Babatunde Ajayi as the new General Manager of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency,” the statement read.
Dr. Ajayi is described as a dynamic medical practitioner and seasoned administrator who has previously served as the Special Assistant to the Lagos State Commissioner for Health. During his tenure, he spearheaded various projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing health outcomes within Lagos.
