The funeral arrangements for the late gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, have been released by his family.
According to the burial schedule, a tribute night will be held for him on Tuesday, December 13 in Lagos State, followed by a service of songs on Wednesday.
The funeral service, which is expected to be a private affair, will hold on December 15.
Sammie Okposo died on November 25, at age 51.
PunchMetro had reported that Okposo’s manager, Hillary Vincent, debunked rumors that the singer slumped and died, but he died in his sleep.
Vincent said, “It is not true that Sammie slumped and died. That report is false. At the right time, the family will set the records straight. But, I can tell you authoritatively that he did not slump. Rather, he just did not wake up from his sleep.”
The Wellu Wellu master, as he was fondly called, was an internationally-recognized music producer, psalmist, and CEO of Zamar Entertainment.
