Controversial Nigerian Singer, Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable, has questioned the musical prowess of fellow singers, Ruger and Buju.
In a viral video shared by the Portable online, he claimed that Ruger and Buju do not know how to sing and that the duo should come to him to learn how to sing.
“Help me tell Ruger and Buju, let them come and learn music from Dr Zeh. They don’t know how to sing. All the music they do, one cannot hear what they are saying clearly. It’s not like we don’t understand English, their words are not clear.” he said.
Since the Zazu crooner found limelight after his collaboration with Olamide and Poco Lee on the 14th of December 2021, he has constantly being in the news for many other controversial statements.
He was recently disqualified by the organizers of the Headies Award after he was nominated as the ‘Rookie of the year’s and ‘Best Street Artist ‘ award due to his comments about his co-nominees.
Portable posted a video on his Twitter on the 25th of May, saying “Those are my awards, anybody else who wins, I will ask them to kill the person, if the organizer gives my award to someone else, they will die.”
In addition, he posted a video on his social media channel on July 18 in which he claimed to be the leader of the notorious cult group “One Million Boys.” Over the years, this group developed a reputation for robbing Nigerians.
