Four days later, he suffered his first defeat with Al Nassr as they were eliminated from the Saudi Super Cup in the semi-finals by eventual champions Al-Ittihad, 3-1.
Ronaldo also appeared for a Saudi XI in a 5-4 friendly loss to PSG on January 19. In the encounter, he scored twice.
The Portuguese star was signed from Manchester United by the middle east owned club side for £175m-a-year contract on the 30th of December, 2022.
