Gunmen suspected to armed robbers reportedly invaded multiple banks in Aynigba, Kogi State.
This was revealed in a video shared on social media.
In the video spotted by our correspondent, multiple gunshots could be heard, as witnesses scamper for safety.
Some security agencies at the scene reportedly engaged the robbers in a gun battle while a yet-to-be-identified person could be heard shouting, “Aynigba is on fire.”
Meanwhile, no official statement has been made at the time of filing this report.
When contacted, the Kogi State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Williams Ovye Aya, did not respond to calls put through to his number.
